Xbox redesigns female protagonist for upcoming Fable game

Xbox has released a clip showcasing a significant facial redesign for the female protagonist in the upcoming Fable game. The update appears to address previous community criticism regarding the character's initial appearance in early teasers.

The redesigned character features softer facial features and fewer freckles compared to the original design. This visual overhaul was revealed ahead of Gamescom and has received a generally positive response from the gaming community.

Developed by Playground Games in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal using the ForzaTech engine, the action RPG is set in the kingdom of Albion. The game is scheduled for release on February 23 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
