Xbox Showcase Unveils Doom DLC and Updates Bethesda's Elder Scrolls VI Plans

During today's Xbox Showcase, id Software announced the "Rivelazioni" DLC for DOOM: The Dark Ages, set for release on July 7. The expansion adds a new chain‑lance weapon, tougher puzzles, new demons, and a free Ripatorium 3.0 update. Players with the Premium Edition or Collector Bundle will receive extra maps and weapons at no extra cost, while others can purchase the DLC for €19.99 or upgrade to Premium for €34.99.

The same event highlighted Bethesda's status on The Elder Scrolls VI. Xbox content lead Matt Booty said the game will be shown "when it is (almost) ready," noting development delays caused by the launch of Starfield. While no new trailer was presented, Booty suggested a possible teaser could appear by the end of 2026, with a provisional launch window around 2028. Bethesda also provided updates on Fallout 76 and The Elder Scrolls Online, but the focus remained on the pending sixth installment of its flagship RPG series.
