Xbox unveils new exclusive titles and roadmap at 2026 Games Showcase
Microsoft’s Xbox division used its 2026 Games Showcase in Paris to outline a refreshed strategy centered on exclusive content. The company confirmed that the upcoming titles *Gears of War: E‑Day* and *Clockwork Revolution* will launch only on Xbox consoles, underscoring a shift toward strengthening its own ecosystem while still honoring existing multi‑platform agreements such as *Forza Horizon 6* on PlayStation 5.
The event also revealed a slate of upcoming games, including first‑look gameplay for *Gears of War: E‑Day* (scheduled for 6 October 2026), new footage of *Clockwork Revolution*, *State of Decay 3*, *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4* with a new DMZ extraction mode, and announced future releases like *Senua* (2027), *Spyro: A Realm Beyond*, *Fable* (23 February 2027), *Halo: Campaign Evolved* (28 July 2026) and *Minecraft Dungeons II* (29 September 2026). Partners highlighted titles such as *Persona 6*, *Metro 2039*, *Wo Long 2*, and *Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy*.
To mark Xbox’s 25th anniversary, a limited‑edition collector’s set featuring a special Series X console and controller was also introduced.
