Xcanbot to debut XcanMow Mix 2000 robot mower at IFA Berlin

Xcanbot is set to debut the XcanMow Mix 2000 robot mower at IFA Berlin 2026. The device utilizes a proprietary navigation system called XcanSense, which combines LiDAR and camera vision to create three-dimensional maps of gardens.

Unlike traditional wire-guided mowers that require buried cables or RTK mowers that rely on satellite signals, the Mix 2000 operates without wires, antennas, or base stations. This allows the machine to maintain a positioning accuracy of approximately 2 cm in challenging environments such as shaded areas, near tall walls, or after dark.

The mower is designed to navigate narrow gaps as small as 55 cm, climb 25-degree gradients, and overcome obstacles up to 5 cm. It can cover properties up to 2,000 m² at a rate of roughly 180 m² per hour. Xcanbot will also demonstrate the Mate X mobility robot at the event, held at Messe Berlin from 4 to 8 September.
