XenFi expands African footprint with Wi-Fi management platform
Ugandan technology startup XenFi is expanding its operations across Africa following the development of a profitable digital platform designed for internet service providers (ISPs) and Wi-Fi hotspot operators.
The platform centralizes essential business functions, allowing operators to manage customer access, sell internet packages, issue vouchers, and monitor transactions. It specifically enables the administration of multiple MikroTik routers from a single dashboard and integrates mobile money payments, a critical feature for financial transactions in many African markets.
Founded in 2025 and self-funded, XenFi currently employs over 100 people. The company reports approximately 6,000 active users in Uganda and has established a presence in nearly 15 African countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and Gabon.
