XeniArtSpace hosts exhibition of nine Cypriot women artists

XeniArtSpace in Limassol has launched “CHANNELLED: CYPRUS – Women Artists of the Island,” an exhibition featuring nine women artists connected to Cyprus. The showcase utilizes various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and textiles, to explore themes of identity, memory, nature, and belonging.

The exhibition serves as the second chapter of the CHANNELLED series, following the international “CHANNELLED: Women in Art Across Centuries.” Rather than promoting a single aesthetic, the collection highlights diverse artistic perspectives to create a multifaceted portrait of contemporary Cyprus.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Limassol Mayor Yiannis Armeftis. Xenia Kulbachevskaya, the founder of XeniArtSpace, noted that the exhibition provides a platform for women to share personal stories and inner worlds through their work. The exhibition is scheduled to run from September 22, 2026, to February 18, 2027.
