XeniArtSpace hosts international women in art exhibition in Limassol

The international museum-level exhibition ‘CHANNELLED: Women in Art Across Centuries’ opened on September 17, 2026, at the XeniArtSpace gallery in Trilogy Plaza, Limassol. The opening ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Evi Cholaki, in the presence of representatives from the arts, culture, and media sectors.

Featuring works from the personal collection of Xenia Kulbachevskaya, the founder of XeniArtSpace, the exhibition brings together 17 internationally renowned female artists from the 20th and 21st centuries. The collection includes diverse artistic voices such as Olga de Amaral, Tracey Emin, Leonor Fini, Lidia Masterkova, Leiko Ikemura, and others, spanning various cultural backgrounds and generations.

The exhibition utilizes painting, photography, textiles, sculpture, and installation to create a dialogue between historical art forms and contemporary approaches. Rather than following a linear historical narrative or attempting to define a singular ‘female aesthetic,’ the showcase emphasizes how ideas and artistic inquiries traverse time and acquire new meanings through the unique identities of each artist.
