Xentrix releases new single ‘Nil By Mouth’ ahead of upcoming album

British thrash metal band Xentrix has released a new music video for the single ‘Nil By Mouth’. The track serves as a preview for their upcoming tenth studio album, ‘Allied With The Enemy’, which is scheduled for release on October 30 via Listenable Records.

The song ‘Nil By Mouth’ was originally recorded as a demo for the band’s previous album, ‘Seven Words’, but was set aside before being rediscovered during the writing process for the new record. The track features updated lyrics and vocals, focusing on the theme of involuntary communication blockage—the sensation of being unable to articulate thoughts that are racing too quickly.

Musically, the single blends classic thrash metal with modern production, characterized by fast rhythms, thrash guitar riffs, and heavy choruses. The upcoming album is described as a darker and more aggressive ten-track collection compared to their previous work.
