Xerez CD president claims priority for Chapín Stadium scheduling

Xerez CD president Juan Luis Gil has addressed the scheduling challenges facing Chapín Stadium, which will be shared by both Xerez CD and Xerez DFC this upcoming season. The two clubs are expected to coincide as home teams for six matches.

Gil stated that the Jerez City Council has assured Xerez CD they will have priority in selecting match days and times due to the club's higher category and larger social mass. The president expressed concern regarding the condition of the pitch, noting that playing multiple matches in a single weekend could render the grass impracticable, particularly during the winter months when field conditions are already poor.
