Xero increases CEO pay following strong revenue growth

Xero Ltd has implemented a pay increase for CEO Sukhinder Singh Cassidy to align her compensation with global technology industry benchmarks. Following a review by the board and consultation with major shareholders, Cassidy’s base salary will increase by US$100,000 to US$640,000. Her long-term incentive and equity opportunities for FY27 have also been raised to a total of US$17.2 million.

The remuneration adjustment follows a period of strong financial performance, with Xero reporting 31 per cent operating revenue growth to $2.8 billion for the 2026 financial year.

Despite recent volatility, Xero shares have seen a significant recovery, rebounding approximately 38 per cent from a seven-year low reached in July. While the stock remains down year-to-date, the company continues to expand its global footprint, serving 4.92 million customers. Management is currently focused on growth in the United States, which remains a key market for the company's expansion strategy.
