XG member Hinata sparks controversy with smoking photo

Hinata, a member of the group XG, has sparked online discussion after posting a photo on the group’s fan app that appears to show her smoking. The image, which shows smoke coming from her mouth, follows previous controversy regarding her behavior.

In July 2026, Hinata was seen using what appeared to be a vape during a concert, a moment later supported by behind-the-scenes footage. Many fans on social media platforms like X have interpreted the new photo as a subtle response to the backlash regarding the earlier vaping incident. While the post has drawn attention, many supporters have praised the group for their unapologetic attitude toward critics.
