XGIMI announces HORIZON 30 series 4K/120Hz smart projectors

XGIMI has announced the HORIZON 30 series, a new lineup of smart projectors featuring 4K/120Hz support, which the company claims is a first for smart projectors in the Japanese market. The series includes two models: the HORIZON 30 Ultra Max and the HORIZON 30 Pro.

The Ultra Max model features 6,000 ISO lumens of brightness and a native contrast ratio of up to 10,000:1, while the Pro model offers 4,800 ISO lumens and an 8,000:1 contrast ratio. Both units utilize latest triple-color lasers from Nichia Corporation and a dual iris system to precisely control light levels. To enhance visual processing, the projectors use a proprietary X-Vision chip to analyze images in real time.

Designed for diverse media, the series supports IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode. For gaming, the devices support VRR, ALLM, and are AMD FreeSync certified. Both models come equipped with Google TV and Harman/Kardon speakers. The Ultra Max is priced at 599,800 yen with a release date of November 10, while the Pro is priced at 419,800 yen and will be available starting November 5.
