The affected establishments include brands such as Green Tea, Chinae, and various sushi and Hong Kong-style dim sum outlets.

Reports indicate that employees bypassed regulations by decanting the pesticide into unlabeled water bottles to avoid detection and used uncertified rodenticides. Journalists conducting undercover investigations found positive traces of dichlorvos on restaurant floors. Some businesses reported mass deaths of live seafood following disinfection services.

According to internal sources, the company used the toxic pesticide to reduce costs. Local authorities, including the Xiamen police and health departments, have intervened. The company's business premises have been closed, and a joint investigation team is currently conducting inspections and seizing remaining chemical stocks.
