Xian Gaza apologizes to Alden Richards for personal attacks

Social media personality Xian Gaza has issued a public apology to actor Alden Richards for making personal attacks regarding the actor’s perceived sexuality and for involving his road manager in an online controversy. Gaza admitted to using 'argumentum ad hominem' tactics, acknowledging that he targeted the actor personally to drive social media engagement and online attention.

Despite the apology for the nature of his remarks, Gaza maintained his original allegations concerning a condominium and expensive watches, claiming they were based on information from industry sources. He also apologized to the actor’s road manager, stating that private individuals should not be drawn into public disputes.

In a separate context, Alden Richards addressed the importance of kindness and selflessness during the ‘Hero For All 2026’ event. While Richards remained silent regarding the specific accusations, his speech emphasized the value of doing good and helping others without expecting anything in return. The event, supported by his AR Foundation, honored 20 Filipinos for their community service and compassion.
