Xiao Zhan announces 10th anniversary concerts in China

Chinese singer and actor Xiao Zhan has announced personal concerts in Nanjing and Shanghai to commemorate his 10th anniversary in the industry. The announcement has generated massive engagement, with topic views reaching 3.9 billion.

Demand for the events has broken multiple records in the Chinese entertainment industry. While approximately 5 million people registered to purchase tickets, only 20,000 were initially available, with 80,000 seats selling out within one second of the platform opening on October 15. This high demand has led to extreme secondary market prices, with some front-row seats being resold for as much as 250,000 NDT.

The concerts have also significantly impacted the local economy, specifically the hospitality sector. Hotel prices in the areas surrounding the concert venues reportedly increased twelvefold, with many locations reaching full capacity.
