Xiao Zhan to play surgeon in new drama ‘Small Town Remedy’

Actor Xiao Zhan is set to take on a challenging new role in the drama ‘Small Town Remedy’. He portrays Liu Zhengliang, a genius surgeon who falls into a low point following a major medical accident. The character struggles with psychosomatic tremors and hemophobia, eventually returning to his hometown in Northeast China to restart his medical career at a local health center.

In contrast to his character’s weathered appearance in the series, Xiao Zhan has recently appeared in a fashion campaign for TOD’S Autumn/Winter 2026. The campaign features him in various high-end leather jackets, knitwear, and accessories, showcasing a polished and sophisticated style.
