Xiaomi 17 series features new Photography Kit and price reductions

Xiaomi has introduced a specialized Photography Kit for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, designed to bridge the gap between smartphones and professional cameras. The kit features a premium case with metallic finishes and synthetic leather, providing physical ergonomics through a dedicated grip and tactile controls. It includes two physical buttons: a circular button for video and an elongated two-stage shutter button that mimics a DSLR experience by allowing users to focus with a light press and capture images with a full press.

Separately, the Xiaomi 17 is seeing significant price reductions on Amazon. The 512 GB model, featuring 12 GB of RAM and a blue finish, has been discounted by approximately 200 euros, bringing its price to 649 euros. The device is noted for its high-end specifications, including a silicon-carbon battery and a Leica Summilux optical lens with an f/1.67 aperture, paired with the Light Fusion 950 sensor for enhanced low-light and high-contrast photography.
