Xiaomi and Nubia unveil new smartphone technologies

New smartphone developments highlight advancements in battery technology, optics, and AI security. The Xiaomi 17T Pro features a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery and a Leica-branded camera system, including a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, the device offers high-end performance and a 144 Hz P-OLED display.

In a different approach to mobile security, Nubia has introduced the NaviX Ultra in China. This model features dual fingerprint scanners: one under the display and a second integrated into a dedicated AI button. This design allows users to verify their identity instantly when engaging with AI tools, enabling the device to handle sensitive topics through biometric authentication.
