Xiaomi and RedMagic unveil new high-performance gaming monitors

Xiaomi and RedMagic have announced new high-performance gaming monitors in China, targeting different segments of the gaming market.

Xiaomi has added the REDMI G27Q 2026 Standard Edition to its lineup. This 27-inch Fast IPS monitor features a 2K resolution (2560 x 1440) and a 240Hz refresh rate with a 1ms GTG response time. It offers 500 nits of brightness, supports HDR, and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The device includes AMD FreeSync Premium and specialized features like Dark Field Enhancement Pro to improve visibility in dark areas.

RedMagic is preparing a premium Mini LED monitor scheduled for release in December 2026. The display features 5,184 local dimming zones and offers a dual-mode capability: 5K resolution at 180Hz or 2K resolution at 330Hz. It boasts a peak HDR brightness of 1400 nits and covers 95% of the BT color space. The monitor is constructed with an aluminum chassis and includes progressive backlight scanning technology to reduce motion blur.
