Xiaomi announces final limited resale of Leica Leitzphone smartphones

Xiaomi Japan has announced a limited resale of the ‘Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi’ smartphone, with only 200 units available. This release follows previous high demand that led to the model selling out quickly after its initial launch.

Because global production of this model has already ended, Xiaomi stated that this shipment will be the final opportunity for consumers to purchase the device. The smartphone, a result of a long-term collaboration with Leica, features advanced camera hardware including a Leica VARIO-APO-SUMMILUX lens and a 1-inch 50-megapixel main sensor.

The device is priced at 249,800 yen. Customers who purchase the phone will receive a complimentary ‘Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography Kit Pro’ battery grip, valued at 19,980 yen. Sales are being conducted through Xiaomi’s online store and official Xiaomi Store locations.
