Xiaomi announces HyperOS 4 global beta programme recruitment

Xiaomi has officially announced the recruitment schedule for its HyperOS 4 global beta programme. The rollout targets users with supported Global and EEA firmware versions, allowing early adopters to test the next-generation operating system before its wide public release.

Recruitment for specific devices, including the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17, and the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi, is set to begin on September 10, 2026. A second wave of recruitment for devices such as the Xiaomi 17T Pro, Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Xiaomi 15 will start on September 17, 2026.

HyperOS 4 introduces several technical and aesthetic enhancements, including the HyperCore Performance Engine for kernel-level optimizations, AI-powered memory preloading, and a redesigned user interface featuring soft-light glass textures and GPU-accelerated blur effects. The update also expands HyperIsland Live Activities to support over 130 apps.

To participate, eligible users must use the Xiaomi Community app to complete a required questionnaire. Participants must be running the latest stable HyperOS 3 version, and their Xiaomi Account must match the account signed in on the device.
