Xiaomi showcases ecosystem and new foldable at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Xiaomi showcased its largest international presence to date, occupying over 3,300 square meters to present more than 380 products. The company highlighted its ‘Human x Car x Home’ ecosystem, which uses artificial intelligence and the HyperOS operating system to integrate personal devices, smart home technology, and electric vehicles.

A major focus of the exhibition was the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold, a wide-format foldable smartphone scheduled for launch in China on September 7, 2026. The device features a 5.38-inch outer display and a 7.58-inch inner display, powered by Xiaomi’s in-house XRING O3 AI chipset. Technical specifications include a 6,000mAh Jinshajiang battery, a triple Leica-tuned camera system with a 200MP main sensor, and support for LPDDR6 memory.

Xiaomi also demonstrated its automotive ambitions, featuring the SU7, SU7 Ultra, and the Vision Gran Turismo concept. The company confirmed plans to enter the European electric vehicle market in 2027, with Germany identified as its first target market. Additionally, the company unveiled the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max, a high-performance tablet also utilizing the XRING O3 processor.
