Xiaomi budget electronics see price drops and new product leaks

Xiaomi products are seeing significant movement in the budget consumer electronics market. The Redmi Buds 6 Play headphones are currently available on AliExpress for approximately 18.06 euros, a notable reduction from their standard retail price of over 40 euros.

Additionally, leaks have revealed upcoming Redmi Watch 6 models. The Redmi Watch 6 Active is expected to be priced around €50, while the Redmi Watch 6 Lite is estimated at €60. Both models feature AMOLED displays, a significant upgrade over previous TFT LCD versions in this price bracket.

Despite the naming, the 'Lite' model appears to be the higher-spec option, featuring multi-system satellite positioning and a nine-axis motion sensor, whereas the 'Active' model lacks reported GPS. Both watches include heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and Bluetooth calling capabilities.
