Xiaomi debuts Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 3 Max

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 3 Max, a motorized ceiling-mounted drying system designed for the Chinese market. The device features a 2.4-meter telescopic rod divided into five zones, capable of supporting up to 45 kg of laundry. It can accommodate approximately 80 items of clothing or two large comforters simultaneously.

The unit functions as a multi-purpose appliance, combining drying, sterilization, and smart lighting. It utilizes a 77 cm air outlet that provides 1,250 W of hot air or 10 W of natural ventilation. To improve hygiene, the system includes a mesh with a 99% antibacterial effectiveness rating and a plasma technology system for fabric sterilization.

When not in use for laundry, the device serves as a smart lamp featuring a 42-inch light panel. The lighting offers adjustable brightness and color temperature (ranging from 2,700 to 5,700 K) and includes a presence sensor to adapt illumination automatically. Users can control the device's height, schedule usage, and manage routines via a dedicated Xiaomi application.
