Xiaomi executive reports surge in Redmi K100 pre-orders

Xiaomi Group Senior Vice President and China President Wang Xiaoyan announced a significant increase in pre-orders for the Redmi K100 standard edition. Notably, users under the age of 30 account for nearly 70% of pre-orders, marking a record high for the K-series standard models.

Wang noted a shift in consumer behavior during the upcoming Double 11 shopping festival, observing that younger consumers are becoming more rational and opting for mature, market-tested products through staggered consumption.

The Redmi K100 is scheduled for release on October 27. Key technical specifications include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite platform paired with a D2 dedicated gaming chip. The device features a 6.83-inch screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and a high-density 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It will launch with Xiaomi HyperOS 4.
