Xiaomi expands Redmi Watch 6 series with budget Active model

Xiaomi has expanded its Redmi Watch 6 series with the introduction of the Redmi Watch 6 Active, a budget-friendly smartwatch positioned as an upgrade from standard smartbands. The Active model is the most affordable in the series, with promotional prices reaching approximately 990,000 VND.

Compared to the Redmi Watch 6 Lite, the Active version features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. While the Lite model offers a larger 1.96-inch screen and higher brightness, the Active model is noted for its more compact feel on small to medium wrists due to its thicker bezels.

Key design differences include the removal of the digital rotating crown on the Active model, opting for a more minimalist aesthetic. Additionally, the Redmi Watch 6 Lite includes built-in positioning capabilities that are not present in the Active version.
