Xiaomi expands smart appliance market with new washing machines

Xiaomi has expanded its presence in the large home appliance market with new product launches in Taiwan and China.

In Taiwan, the company introduced the Mi Home Smart Drum Washing and Drying Machine Pro (12.5kg). The device features a direct-drive motor, 90°C high-temperature sterilization, and smart connectivity via the Mi Home app. It is priced at NT$16,999 and includes a 12-year motor warranty. Alongside the washing machine, Xiaomi launched three new Mi Home wireless vacuum cleaners and several smart wearable devices, including the Redmi Watch 6 series.

In China, Xiaomi announced the pre-sale of the Mi Home Washing Machine Pro Super Electrolysis Fresh Air series. This 12kg capacity line utilizes super electrolysis technology for stain removal and a fresh air system for odor control. Following national subsidies, the drum model is available starting from approximately 3,484.2 RMB, while the wash-and-dry model starts at 3,994.2 RMB.
