Xiaomi expands smart home ecosystem with new gadgets and water heater

Xiaomi continues to expand its smart home ecosystem with new product offerings ranging from affordable lighting to advanced household appliances. The company has highlighted several budget-friendly gadgets priced under 30€, including the Xiaomi Night Light 3, a minimalist motion-sensing light, and the Xiaomi Smart LED Bulb, which supports the Matter standard for cross-platform integration.

In a more significant hardware release, Xiaomi introduced the Mijia Smart Electric Water Heater Pro in the Chinese market. The 80-liter device utilizes a thermal management algorithm to effectively provide the equivalent of 1,120 liters of heated water, significantly increasing its functional capacity. Operating at 3,300 W, the unit is designed to be more energy-efficient than traditional electric showers and features temperature controls between 30°C and 80°C.
