Xiaomi expands smart home lineup with AI stove and bathroom heater

Xiaomi has introduced new smart home products in China, expanding its Mijia ecosystem with AI-integrated and multi-functional appliances.

The Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater 2 is a ceiling-mounted device that combines rapid heating, ventilation, and lighting. It features a 3,000W graphene PTC heating element and a dual-fan system capable of an air exchange rate of 300 cubic meters per hour. The unit also includes a 1,600-lumen LED strip for primary illumination.

Additionally, the company launched the Mijia Smart Gas Stove 3 Max, which utilizes artificial intelligence to enhance kitchen safety. The stove features a titanium alloy probe that monitors pot temperature to prevent dry boiling. It also employs radar technology to detect user presence; if a user is absent for 30 minutes, an acoustic signal sounds, and if they remain away for 60 minutes, the device automatically shuts off the gas and sends a notification via the Xiaomi Home app.
