Xiaomi expands smart home lineup with new dishwasher and tech-integrated nightstand

Xiaomi has expanded its smart home ecosystem with the introduction of two new consumer products: a high-capacity smart dishwasher and a multifunctional tech-integrated nightstand.

The Mijia smart dishwasher is a built-in model with a 156-liter capacity, capable of washing up to 144 pieces of tableware in a single cycle. It features a BLDC inverter motor providing high water pressure, a triple spray system, and a 70-minute rapid wash mode. For hygiene, the device uses 75-degree Celsius water and 115-degree Celsius steam for drying, claiming a 99.99999% bacterial elimination rate. It also includes a floor projector to display washing status.

Additionally, the company has unveiled a smart nightstand designed for tech users. The furniture includes a 15W Qi wireless charger, USB-C and USB-A ports, and an integrated Bluetooth speaker for alarms or sleep sounds. It features adjustable LED lighting and a secure, biometric-protected drawer that can be accessed via fingerprint sensor or PIN code.
