Xiaomi unveils Watch S5 series with compact and transparent models

Xiaomi has expanded its wearable lineup with the announcement of the Watch S5 series, featuring both a compact 41mm model and a highly exclusive 47mm Transparent Edition.

The Watch S5 41mm is designed for smaller wrists, measuring 9.9mm in thickness and weighing 36g. It features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and runs on the new HyperOS 4 operating system. This model emphasizes health tracking, including specialized female health features such as temperature sensing for menstrual cycle prediction and dual-band UVA/UVB monitoring. It also offers up to 14 days of battery life.

The Watch S5 Transparent Edition is a limited release of only 5,000 units. It distinguishes itself with a 47mm octagonal case made from Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0, which allows the internal components to be visible. This premium version includes a stainless steel bezel and a red-themed aesthetic, priced at approximately 2,499 yuan (about $372).
