Xiaomi, Huawei, and HMD announce new wireless earbud models

Several new wireless earbud models have been highlighted, featuring advancements in noise cancellation, battery life, and audio hardware.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Buds 7S features a dual-driver system, including a 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic driver and a 5.5mm piezoelectric ceramic unit. The device offers 360-degree sound, intelligent active noise cancellation, and wind resistance up to 9 meters per second. It provides up to 6.5 hours of playback on a single charge, extending to 32 hours with the charging case. In China, the earbuds are priced at approximately 199 yuan (around $27).

HMD has introduced the Ampd Buds, which utilize a flat-stem TWS design. The charging case draws design inspiration from the HMD Skyline smartphone, which itself references the classic Nokia Lumia aesthetic. The earbuds are available in black, blue, and pink.

Huawei has unveiled the FreeBuds Pro 4, which is among the first earbuds to operate on the HarmonyOS NEXT system. The model features upgraded internal components and new audio technologies under the Huawei SOUND brand to enhance the listening experience.
