Xiaomi introduces Redmi Buds 8 with active noise cancellation

Xiaomi has released the Redmi Buds 8, true wireless earbuds featuring active noise cancellation (ANC) at a significantly lower price point than premium competitors. The ANC is designed to mitigate continuous low-to-mid frequency sounds, such as air conditioning or train hum, though impulsive noises like horns remain audible. The device offers three adjustable ANC levels and several transparency modes.

In terms of battery life, the Redmi Buds 8 provides approximately 11 hours of use on a single charge without ANC, extending to 44 hours with the charging case. When ANC is activated, the battery life decreases to roughly 6.5 hours per charge.
