Xiaomi 18 Pro series to launch globally before end of 2026

Xiaomi has confirmed that its new flagship Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch in international markets, including Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, before the end of 2026. This marks a strategic shift for the company, which has previously limited its Pro-tier models to the Chinese market.

The series features significant hardware upgrades, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is highlighted for its massive 8,500 mAh battery and a dual 200MP camera system co-engineered with Leica. Both models include a secondary rear AMOLED display for notifications and selfies.

A notable new feature is the intelligent privacy screen technology, designed to obscure content from side angles while maintaining brightness for the primary user. The Pro models also feature high-performance LTPO AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz.
