Xiaomi launches AI‑enabled 2K PTZ security camera in Portugal

Xiaomi released a 2K PTZ indoor security camera that can rotate 360°, tilt, and track moving objects. The device uses AI to distinguish people from other motion, sending alerts only for human activity. It offers 2× optical zoom, colour night vision, and integrates with the Xiaomi Home app, allowing users to control the camera alongside smart plugs, bulbs and sensors. The camera is powered via micro‑USB rather than USB‑C and is priced lower than comparable models from larger brands, making the feature set more affordable for home users.

The camera is marketed for monitoring living rooms, baby rooms or pets, and aims to reduce blind spots by covering an entire room with a single unit instead of multiple fixed cameras.
