Xiaomi launches Mijia smart ceiling fan with retractable blades

Xiaomi has expanded its smart home catalog with the global launch of the Mijia Ceiling Fan with Light. The device features a high-performance DC motor and a unique retractable blade system that allows the unit to function as a standard chandelier with a single touch.

The integrated lighting system offers full-spectrum illumination with a color temperature range of 2,700 to 5,700 K and a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra97. It is designed to minimize glare with a UGR index below 19 and features a low blue light risk rating (RG0).

For climate control, the fan includes four preset breeze modes—Lakeside, Putting Green, Camping, and Terraced Fields—to simulate natural airflow. It supports both forward rotation for summer cooling and reverse rotation to circulate warm air during winter. The device is compatible with HyperOS, Alexa, and Google Assistant, and can be controlled via a dedicated app or remote.
