Xiaomi launches Mijia Smart Pet Water Fountain 2

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Smart Pet Water Fountain 2 Sterilization Edition to its Mijia product line. The device is scheduled for its first sale in China on August 25, priced at approximately 199 yuan.

The fountain features a four-stage filtration system consisting of high-density microporous PP cotton, activated carbon granules, ion-exchange mixed resin, and antibacterial cotton. To enhance water safety, an integrated UV-C pump is designed to eliminate up to 99% of microorganisms.

Key technical specifications include a 3-liter reservoir, which can provide hydration for a cat for roughly 10 to 15 days. The device is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery, offering up to 90 days of autonomy on a single charge, allowing for wireless placement throughout a home. It includes a transparent window to monitor water levels, an inclined design for pet comfort, and an IPX7 waterproof rating for easy cleaning.
