Xiaomi has introduced the Smart Camera Video Call Version 2, a multifunctional device that integrates a security camera, a smart display, and a desk clock. The device features a 3.97-inch vertical color screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, designed to display information such as the time and weather.

For security and communication, the unit is equipped with an 8 MP camera capable of 4K video recording, supported by AI image processing and 940 nm infrared lighting for night vision. It facilitates video calls via applications like WeChat or Mi Home Video, supporting gesture controls, single-touch activation, or synchronized modes. The hardware includes two microphones with intelligent noise cancellation and a built-in speaker to ensure audio quality.

The device is mounted on a cylindrical base that allows for 360-degree horizontal rotation and a vertical tilt between 0 and 30 degrees. While noted for its versatility and affordability, availability may be limited.
