Xiaomi launches new Mijia smart home appliances in China

Xiaomi has introduced two new smart home appliances in the Chinese market: the Mijia 6 kg washing machine and the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 7 Max.

The Mijia washing machine (model XQB60MJ101) is a compact, top-loading unit designed for small living spaces, occupying approximately 0.25 square meters. Priced at 587 yuan (roughly 78 euros), it features ten washing programs, a 19-minute rapid cycle, and a delayed start function. The device includes a double-layer mesh filter and an automatic drum cleaning mode.

The Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 7 Max offers significant technical upgrades over its predecessor. It features a peak suction power of 45,000 Pa and utilizes a hot water mopping system, using 60°C water from its base and 50°C sprays to dissolve grease. The robot is equipped with three robotic arms to improve cleaning along edges and baseboards, and it can navigate obstacles such as steps up to 6 cm high.
