Xiaomi launches new Mijia smart washer and dryer models
Xiaomi has expanded its smart home appliance lineup with new laundry solutions. In Taiwan, the company has launched the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro, which offers a 12.5kg washing capacity and an 8kg drying capacity. The unit features a direct drive motor, 90°C high-temperature sterilization, and smart dual automatic detergent dispensing. It is priced at NT$16,999.
Additionally, Xiaomi introduced the Mijia Mini Twin-Tub, a compact washing and drying machine designed for specialized tasks. This model features two independent 2.5kg washing drums and a total drying capacity of 3kg. The dual-drum design allows users to separate different types of laundry, such as baby clothes and adult clothing, using independent water and drying channels. The machine includes 34 washing programs, including specialized modes for stains like coffee and makeup, and utilizes a direct drive motor with spin speeds up to 1,200 rpm.
