Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 17 Series with 10,000mAh battery
Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 17 Series, a new generation of smartphones centered on the “Built for Years” philosophy. The lineup includes the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, which features a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. This battery technology allows for high energy density while maintaining a manageable device thickness. The Pro Max model supports 100W fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
The series emphasizes long-term reliability through the “Redmi Titan Quality” standard, offering up to six years of security updates and sustained battery health. Hardware specifications for the flagship Pro Max include a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. The device also features IP66/68/69/69K dust and water resistance.
Other models in the series, such as the Redmi 17 and Redmi 17 5G, offer varying battery capacities, including 7,500mAh and 7,900mAh respectively. The software experience is driven by HyperOS 3, which introduces new AI-driven features and improved interoperability between devices. The series has seen global rollouts across markets including Indonesia, India, Portugal, and South Africa.
