Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 17 series with high-capacity batteries
Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 17 series, featuring four new smartphone models. The lineup is highlighted by the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, which includes a 9,210 mAh battery for the European market. This high capacity is achieved through silicon-carbon cells, which offer higher energy density than traditional lithium-ion batteries, allowing the device to remain thinner than 8.7 mm.
The Pro Max model is designed to last up to three days on a single charge, with 20 minutes of charging providing enough power for a full day. Other models in the series include the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G with an 8,340 mAh battery, and the standard Redmi Note 17 and 17 5G, which feature 7,700 mAh batteries.
In the Czech market, the series is priced between 5,699 and 14,299 CZK. The standard Redmi Note 17 and 17 5G models feature 6.99-inch AMOLED displays with 120 Hz refresh rates and IP65 dust and water resistance. The 5G variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, while the non-5G version uses a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2.
