Xiaomi launches REDMI Watch 6 Active and REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G

Xiaomi has introduced new hardware targeting the entry-level and mid-range markets. The REDMI Watch 6 Active is a budget-friendly smartwatch priced under €43. It features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with up to 1200 nits of brightness, an Always-On Display, and a battery life lasting up to 18 days under light use. The device includes Bluetooth calling capabilities via a built-in microphone and speaker, 24/7 health monitoring for heart rate, SpO2, and stress, and over 140 sports modes. It carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Additionally, the REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G smartphone focuses on durability and battery longevity. It is equipped with an 8,340 mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 67W HyperCharge, which Xiaomi claims can provide up to three days of autonomy. The battery is designed to retain 80% capacity after 1,600 charge cycles. For physical durability, the phone utilizes REDMI Titan Structure, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and holds multiple IP certifications (IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K). It has also passed SGS-certified drop tests from heights of up to three meters.
