Xiaomi launches Redmi Watch 6 Active smartwatch

Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Watch 6 Active, a budget-friendly successor to the Redmi Watch 5 Active. The new smartwatch features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, a significant upgrade over the previous LCD model.

The device is designed to be lightweight and slim, measuring 9.9mm in thickness and weighing 26g without the strap. It includes IP68 dust and water resistance, making it suitable for light swimming.

Equipped with a 470mAh battery, the watch offers varying battery life depending on usage: up to 6 days with Always-on Display enabled, 12 days under standard use, and up to 18 days in power-saving mode. Key features include Bluetooth connectivity for making and receiving calls, over 140 sports modes, and health monitoring tools for heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep, and stress.
