Xiaomi launches Redmi Watch 6 series with affordable smartwatches

Xiaomi has introduced two new Redmi Watch 6 models – the Active version priced at €50.83 and the Lite version at €66.08 – now sold through Powerplanet with discounts up to 29% in Portugal. Both watches feature a 2.07‑inch AMOLED display capable of up to 2000 nits brightness, dual‑band GPS/GLONASS, heart‑rate and SpO₂ sensors, 5 ATM water resistance and more than 150 sport modes. The Active model offers up to 24 days of standby life, while the Lite provides up to 9 days.

A Japanese reviewer highlights the large, bright screen, lightweight 31 g body and a 550 mAh battery that can sustain a week of use with always‑on display enabled. The review notes the absence of NFC, quick‑reply notification support and a lack of quick‑reply for messaging apps, but praises the overall build quality and long battery endurance.
