Huawei has launched the MatePad Air, a 12-inch tablet featuring an OLED PaperMatte display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 10,100 mAh battery. The device is designed for productivity, utilizing AI-integrated software like WPS Office and HUAWEI Notes to assist with content creation and transcription.
Xiaomi has introduced the Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro tablets in China, featuring Snapdragon processors and high-resolution displays. Additionally, the company released the Smart Lock 5 Max, a smart lock that uses palm vein scanning and 3D facial recognition for contactless entry.
In the smart home appliance market, Samsung is promoting its Bespoke AI line to act as a ‘home companion,’ aiming to reduce the mental and physical load of domestic tasks. LG Electronics is also addressing smart home fragmentation with its ThinQ Claw interface, which allows users to control devices via existing messaging apps like Telegram rather than proprietary applications.
