Xiaomi launches Smart Storage UPS for NAS devices

Xiaomi announced the release of its Smart Storage UPS, a compact uninterruptible power supply designed for the company's network‑attached storage (NAS) units. The device is priced at 349 CNY (about $51) and houses an 18 Wh lithium‑ion battery.

The UPS provides automatic shutdown and power‑on recovery to safeguard data during sudden outages, operates plug‑and‑play without any extra USB connections, and aims to prevent file corruption for home‑server users. As of the announcement, the product had not yet appeared on major Chinese retail platforms such as JD.com.
