Samsung and Xiaomi flagship hardware leaks reveal new chips and batteries

Recent leaks and benchmark data reveal upcoming flagship hardware from Samsung and Xiaomi.

Samsung's Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has appeared on Geekbench 7, indicating it will likely feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The device, identified by model number SM-X940, is expected to run Android 17 and may include 12GB of RAM and a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

Xiaomi is also preparing significant hardware updates. The Xiaomi 18 Fold is rumored to feature a massive 6000 mAh battery and the proprietary Xring O3 chip, which utilizes a 3nm process. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro is expected to undergo a major redesign with a larger 12.5-inch 3.2K display and a 20% increase in battery capacity, potentially powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
