HONOR and Xiaomi announce new high-performance tablets

New high-performance tablets from HONOR and Xiaomi are entering the market with advanced hardware and AI capabilities.

HONOR has introduced the Pad 20 Pro and the Pad 20 Pro Paperlike Edition. These devices feature a 12.1-inch 3K display with a 165Hz refresh rate and are powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The tablets include a 10,100 mAh battery and specialized AI features, such as Motion Sickness Relief and eye-protection technologies. The Paperlike Edition offers a textured surface designed to mimic the feel of writing on paper.

Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Pad 9 series, specifically the Pad 9 Pro Max. Leaked specifications suggest the flagship model will feature a 13-inch LCD screen and may utilize Xiaomi’s proprietary Xring O3 AI flagship SoC, which uses a 3nm process. Other potential specifications for the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro include a 12.5-inch 3.2K display, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 11,000 mAh battery, potentially powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
