POCO unveils F9 and X8 smartphone series

POCO has officially launched its new smartphone lineup, featuring the flagship-tier F9 series and the mid-range X8 series.

The F9 series, headlined by the F9 Ultra and F9 Pro, targets high-performance gaming and multimedia. The F9 Ultra is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 6.9-inch 185Hz AMOLED display, and a massive 8,050mAh battery. It also introduces a 2.1ch audio system tuned by Bose, which includes a dedicated rear subwoofer. The F9 Pro offers similar high-end features, including a 185Hz display and 200MP main camera, but with a slightly smaller 6,330mAh battery. Both models support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The X8 series, including the standard X8 and X8 Power, focuses on durability and battery life. The X8 features a 8,340mAh battery, IP69K water and dust resistance, and a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and runs on Android 16 with HyperOS 3. The series is positioned as a high-value option for users prioritizing longevity and ruggedness.
